Dyson Fans & Heaters
Support for Dyson Fans & Heaters would be great! AFAIK all models come with an IR remote and I would like NEEO to help remove that :)
The exact model I'm looking for support is Dyson Hot+Cool AM09

You should be able to find your device in the Database by searching for "Dyson Hot & Cool AM09" This one should work when you recive your NEEO or when you type it like mentioned!

Got a question & feedback:
Is there any way I can skip the first screen "your fan is a stupid device"? It's not exactly useful and I'd hate to swipe every time I open it.
The screen with "Oscillation" and "Time", they overlapped a bit, see attached. I'm curious if I can remove this page? They're better off in shortcut menu with others to minimize swiping prev/next. -
Adam Betts The Search is a little bit to straight in my eyes. It sometimes require to enter the device as it is listed in the Database. Also you need to know that you need to type the manufacturer first and then the Product name...
BTW: If there is a clear ON and a clear OFF command this should be switched to be a "non Stupid" Device, if there is only a Trigger avail, this should also be considered, just for the fact to remove the Stupid Device Screen. Sure Andy would come back to you as soon he has a few seconds!

Many thanks for your feedback! Oops, this is a bug. The screen is not referring to a missing power command (which is included anyway), it's about missing input commands. But of course a climate device has no inputs. This must be fixed in the software and will be part of a future firmware release. I'm sorry that this cannot be fixed immediately.

The way how Dyson has implemented IR is a bit odd.
If the AM09 does not work for you, give the AM05 a try. That one likely will work. Once confirmed, ask Andy to copy the AM05 to the AM09.

I have a Dyson Pure Cool Link which I’d like to operate via NEEO, but although the device list comes up with an option for Pure Cool, it’s not linking at all. I tried the other remotes as well in the Dyson list but none activated the fan during testing.

Thanks! Unfortunately, we have no commands for this exact device. Can you first check if the original remote is infrared? Try to control the device with the remote and make sure there is no line of sight between remote and device. Thanks!

Andy If it helps at all, it seems as though the DP03 ships with Dyson part number 967400-01. The illustration in the Operation section of this support article implies that the remote is infrared. Dyson Pure Cool Link devices can also be controlled by a mobile app.

Hi Guys,
The Dyson AM09 Hot & Cool IR is not working.
I have tried to install it many times, deleting and re-adding the device. Nothing. No buttons work. Can I confirm this is still correctly setup on the servers?
I tried to add it as the AM04 and this will allow me to power it on and change temp.
But the options to oscillate (for it to turn) and timer options do not work with the AM04 IR codes.

Technical and can follow a learn code process or give you the pronto codes.

Gary H In exactly the same boat. AM04 and 05 work to turn it on and control temp, but doesn't have cool, hot, focus, wide, oscillate etc.
What is REALLY strange though, is the AM09 used to work. The only reason it doesn't now is because i had to reset my brain and now re-adding everything... no longer working!
Wondering if something about it was changed since I originally added it a good couple of years back.So frustrating!

Someone at neeo must have changed it.
It has never worked for me in last year or two.
I put a request in to add IR a year ago and no-one bothered to respond. So just stuck using AM04 for basic on/off

Gary H Well the official support for this died once Control4 bought it. But they refuse to support any legacy requests.
