Switch between TV and Beamer
Hi,
Just received my Neeo 2 Days ago.
Basically it works and I am happy with it.
Having the following Equipment:
-Marantz AV Receiver
-Panasonic TV
-Epson Beamer Projector
-Intel NUC Media Player
Have added all Devices and the Media Player twice - once with TV output und once with Projector Output
When starting the Media Player with TV Output Recipe -> works.
Wen starting the Media Player with Projector Output Recipe -> works.
Now my Problem:
When using Media Player with TV Output at the Moment and I want to switch to Projector Output I have to Power Off the Media Player with TV Output and start the Media Player with Projector Output
From my previous Harmony Setup it was that I just start the Media Player with Projector Output Action and it just switched off the TV and turns on the Projector - it leaved the AV and Media Player as it was
Any Chance to make this also on Neeo?

why do you have to turn off the TV output recipe first?
if you return to the Home screen by pressing the Home button, you can simply start the Projector Recipe without turning off the other one.
If you still have errors in the control, you have to change the settings under "edit launch" in the respective recipe.
for example, you can set the Projector recipe to turn off the TV when starting. this has no effect if you only start the Projector recipe without having started the TV recipe before. the devices know their status, so this should not cause any problems. -

But when i switch to Projector Recipe the TV Recipe stays active?

Andreas not when you send a power off command to the TV at the start of the Projector recipe. go to the Projector recipe and then to "edit Launch" there you have to send a power off command to the TV. try that, i'm sure this will work :)

nuro Ok - will give it a try - thank you. Just to clarify - Power Off Command to TV or to the Media Player? Because on the HOme Screen it shows the MEdia Player not the TV

Andreas All right, my mistake.
this will not work because both recipes use the same media player.
what you could do is turn the media player off and on again at startup.
did you add 2 media players with different names or did you just add a recipe manually? -
nuro ok. Added the Media Player just twice and using the "automtic" created Recipes

Andreas perfect, so then power off the media player 1 in the tv Recipe and power on the media player 2 in the projector recipe, that should work.. i did the same with my receiver when i switch from SONOS to TV and it works.

Andreas perfect. the best what you can do is:
send "Power Off" to Plex Beamer in the TV recipe and send "Power Off" to Plex TV in the Beamer recipe. i would send this command in the first position and then a "wait for 5 Seconds" command. that should work :)

Soo.. does this mean you neet two rceipes for every source? One for tv and one for projector?

Tord Solheim As I understand the Product yes - kind of weird if you come from Harmony as you dont need it there

Three sources and your front Page is full.. It's just not good enough. I use a recipe for 'switch to projector' and one for 'switch to tv'. But that has other issues..

Ye - its not ideal - Harmony solves it better - kinda shame for such a expensive Remote
