List Component for SDK
Hello,
I am using Spotify through Volumio and was thinking that a Sonos like interface so you can choose playlists and so on is quite doable and wanted to look into building it.
I have looked at the SDK and skimmed the topics here but didn't find anything that seems to fit. Are there any components, or are there any immediate plans for releasing components that would help with this, like a clickable list that you can populate from the sdk to have a playlist/song selector kind of thing.

The list feature is on the todo list of neeo. also other new features are on this list.
Currently (with the official) SDK only basic features are working. But the Sonos Integration and mainly all other types of devices also uses the SDK-Approach in the back, so these features are available, but not yet stable enough for the official SDK release i guess.

Markus Mahr would joining the beta give faster access to those kinds of features? even if unstable, could get some stuff done ...

Kevin Camel I don't use it, but I think it is an SDK driver, so you need an external device where the driver is running and then can add it

I am very happy that the list API is part of the new release. Now I have a real great, working ROON solution with media browsing !!!!!

Michael Kohler some smarthome applications can be better implemented only using the list feature. In this case it would be nice to avoid the intermediate step to invoke the "root" list. When the list is the only UI element it should be initially displayed when the recipe is started. But this is really a bells and whistels feature. As i very dislike Javascript I ported the whole NEEO and ROON SDKs to C#. Are there plans to produce Typescript definitions for the NEEO-SDK ? Maybe somebody is interested on a C# NEEO api. I published it at https://github.com/ChristianRiedl/NeeoApi (Version 48...). I am quite interested to become a beta tester, What are the requirements for this ?

Christian Riedl Thanks for the feedback. I personally fully agree with the fact that the intermediate step to open the list is not desired in all cases. :)
