Can’t use my cable box and a/c

Hey, I’m trying to configure my cable box, which is Sagemcom egci384 UHD. NEEO finds it but none of the controllers are working. It just doesn’t respond to any of the commands. Here is a link to the cable box: https://www.sagemcom.com/broadband/set-top-boxes/cable/the-box/egci384-uhd/

Also, I cannot configure my a/c, which is producers by cool air and the model number is: WNG14FXA (I’m using sensibo to control it from my phone but it seems that you don’t support it either)

Waiting for your help!

Thanks, Guy.

    Many thanks for your request!

For the Cool Air WNG14FXA we don't have any infrared commands. Also, we have contacted the manufacturer for another Cool Air device and did not yet hear back.
Regarding the Sagemcom device - which provider are you using? The generic Sagemcom driver may not work for you.

  • Hey Andiy, My cable box provider called HOT (in Israel). The only way I could make it somehow work is pairing betweeen the cable box remote to my Samsung smart TV remote, and than control the channels through the TV. But most functions are disabled.

Regarding the a/c, this is basic RC3 remote. You don’t support those?

By the way, at the promotion video you can see among all the remotes also a simple IR remote (like the one in the picture attached). How do you pair remote like this to NEEO?

    Thanks!

IR remote for lights - Please try our device "RGB Light Strip". Chances are high that it will work. If not, I'll send you a Live IR Test in order to figure the codes out.
Cable box - Thanks! I'll keep you posted!
A/C - RC3 (or did you mean RC5 or RC6?) is just the protocol. We technically support it. But for example, the RC5 protocol contains thousands (if not millions) of possible commands. There is no way to know which exact commands are used. The protocols are divided into approx. 255 device addresses. These can be divided into another 255 subdevice addresses. And per every address, there are another approx. 255 buttons/functions possible. So, we have around 16'581'375 possible commands just for one single protocol.

  • Thanks! So what are my options at the a/c devision? It’s a shame you not support sensibo...

You could send me the remote of the A/C. Where are you located?

  • Send you a pic of the remote? It’s attached. I’m located in Israel. Btw, What about my sagemcom cable box? Any news there? Last, I think that RGB Light Strip trick did not work. I’ve got two devices like this and none of them replied to the commands. MYbe you should send me Live IR test. Thanks!!
