Missing Commands in Custom Recipes
Was trying to create a simple custom recipe (turn on receiver and set to specific input for streaming from airport express or to play turntable for instance). But I noticed that when I first set up the "wiring" for my system, I had inputs listed that are not available for a customized recipe. Is this by design or a bug?

Thanks for your feedback!
What you saw at the initial setup are the so-called GENERIC INPUTS. These are "rescue" input commands. If everything fails and none of the normal input commands work, you may be lucky with the generic inputs. They are always labeled INPUT 1, 2, 3 etc.
But if you have to use such a command, there is already something wrong. Please let me know your model and manufacturer. Also, which input command did not work and which generic input command did you use for instead?
Thanks!

Using Denon AVR-3312. The AVR remote includes Game 1, Game 2, CD, and DVR (as well as phono) direct inputs missing from the menu in NEEO. Unfortunately, I'm using 3 of those 4 with current inputs and had to cycle through the generic inputs to find them.
Meanwhile, the NEEO input list includes internet radio, Net, as well as NET USB which I think all end up at the same place with the receiver definitely the first two do. Net/USB may go to a menu one level up from the internet radio inputs
Couple other minor issues. I added "receiver" as a recipe and it brings up all the various inputs on the screen afterward. When viewing on the remote, two of the inputs are only partially displayed along the bottom. So they aren't visible and then the bottom of the screen isn't responsive to swiping.
Lastly, at times it seems the receiver becomes unresponsive, via the receiver input menu in the separate receiver recipe, to changes in input. If I select a new recipe altogether (apple TV or TiVo), then the receiver responds and changes as needed. So it seems the app/remote stops sending out the commands from that recipe for some reason. Maybe I'm just trying to cycle through them too quickly.

I too am having this issue. I have a Denon AVR-S900W that does not show up in the device list. Adding a AVR-S900-R results in a list of inputs that don’t exist and/or have several missing. Very similar to the original poster.
So so far I’m finding this to be frustrating. And yes, I updated firmware before starting.
On a side note, the command layout for Directv is really bad. For example, the scroll by page and scroll one channel are on different screens, multiple screens apart! Marks channel surfing really iritating.

Thank you for the fast response Patrick.
I’ll try your suggestion re: favorites. It’s mainly an issue when using the app on the phone.
Another suggestion is to add an “exit” button for DirecTV. Frequently there is a need to back out from menus that require an exit button.
On another note, I had a lot of issues this morning with the Brain disconnecting from my WiFi network and not reconnecting. Also the remote wasn’t connecting. I eventually got it to work.
And now that I have returned home, the app on the phone can't find the Brain. This is quite annoying.
