Denon AVR-X4500H Power

Hello Neeo Team,

Finally I have received my new AVR. I’m really happy that I found the device in the list in Neeo. Unfortunately the power off command is not working. Would be great if you could have a look into it. 

Second question, is IP control planned to be implemented native into Neeo for this device? Especially when listening to music a two way connection would be awesome (actual radio station could be displayed on my remote). I’m not that good in writing drivers and this I believe is far away from my abilities.

  • Hi,  Lars Joschko. Thank you for reporting this. I have forwarded it to the driver team to check the commands. They will come back to you as soon as possible.

    Logically the target is to implement as many device drivers as possible. While adding an IR command set is quickly done, writing an IP based driver takes more resources.

    Listening to our community also means that we put a lot of priority on the most voted ones. 

    As this is a further driver request, I propose to create a further (IP driver) request in the idea voting section to get a feeling for the priority we should give this. Thanks.

    Many thanks for bringing this to our attention!

    The power off command should be fixed. The new data appears around 1PM CET. We had to attach a new driver. Please delete and re-add the device.

    Regarding the SDK - there is already a community written driver here.
