Multiple brains systems

Are there any plans to allow the operation of multiple brains within the same system? Rather than having to switch the controllers (remotes/app) between the different brains as parallel systems.

Hi  Lucas Thank you posting this.

We are working on a NEEO Brain mesh network that will allow you to seamlessly use one NEEO Remote or multiple remotes on one brain or multiple brains :).

    Thanks!

Any idea when this will be implemented?

I see this as a huge priority. I am currently testing a single unit in the UK and hoping to use NEEO for multiple projects we have, however, this issue will prevent its use as the majority of our projects require IR control in more than one location. There are potential 'work arounds' for some circumstances but work arounds can harm user experience, waste time and don't work across the board so are not part of our design process.

Its a shame as Im really impressed by the product so far, it is exceptional, and even more so that you have taken it from the concept I saw at ISE Amsterdam before the kickstarter campaign.

InHome Media Hello! No definitive timeframe at the moment, but once I have a better idea I will certainly update this thread :).

Thank you for compliments, I am more than confident we will get this going sooner rather than later.

  • Good Morning. Any news about the Timeline?

  • Gets pricey having 2 systems for 2 multimedia rooms (eg family room and bedroom). 2 brains, one controller would be a neat fix. Hope you have the technology!

I think the pricing is subjective, and for me it’s great. A bit more costly than Logitech’s cheap plastic Harmony’s yes but the quality, UI and client experience is far superior so well worth the extra IMO.

Its not as fully functional as something like the Control4 remote, far from it in fact... But boy it looks a million times better, and style is a big thing in our book! It’s also cheaper and more accessible than C4.

Savant & Crestron are the only only two I am aware of with a remote that looks half decent and they are far more pricey :)

Any chance of a rough timeline? ie next month, this summer, autumn, year, 2019? :)

InHome Media No timeframe at the moment, but it is in the pipeline. I know its not what folks want to hear, but I don't want to set the wrong expectations :). Hope you all understand. Once I do have a better idea, I will update everyone.

  • Hi,

This must be a big priority for you guys, surely?  I've got several installs plus my home where we've got more than one TV, and the way the brain operates, I don't think we can just add another remote, can we?  Is there a tutorial on how to add more than one remote to the system?  Love the product, but theres lots of items on the wish list!
