Canadian Rogers Cable box not supported

Got my Neeo today, and going through the setup only to find that the the Rogers 4k Netbox (Technicolor 10455HD) is not currently supported even though I had submitted it to be included about a 9 months ago and received confirmation that it was supported. So I now have a Neeo that replaces my Vizio TV remote but still need my Harmony to change channels. I hope this set top box will get added soon as Rogers is the largest cable provider in Canada and I expect more Canadian customers will have the same issue. Any idea of when this may be added or can anyone confirm if any of the other Technicolor boxes that are listed will work?

      Many thanks for your request! Unfortunately, I will not have any access to the correct codes before Monday. But we'll add this device first thing in the morning. In the meantime you can try using one of our other supported Rogers devices.

  • Andy  Thanks for the add. The only thing I have found that does not work is the left arrow button on the control pad. Both hard Hutton and soft putt on in the app do not allow you to scroll left. If I find anything else I'll post it here.

      I was searching for this. It looks like this is missing on the new Rogers remote. Can you try if you find such a command on your original remote? If you find it, let me know which one it is and I'll map it to the correct command. Thanks!

    • Andy hi, the Optical input option is actually on the Yamaha YSP-2500 Sigital sound projector (soundbar) remote. 

       

      When I open my living room recipe, I tap on the cable & soundbar, then it tells me my cable is stupid and asks me to press the toggle on the screen. Once I do that it all comes on (tv/cable/soundbar). I just can't seem to get my Neeo to recognize all 2 items at once.

      The INPUT OPTICAL is also included for your soundbar driver on the NEEO. So, everything is fine here for you?

      Regarding the powering on - yes, your Rogers box does not have discrete Power commands. Because of this, we ask you to manually toggle the power.

      No, your device does not support any discrete power on and off commands. Because of this, this message appears. Teaching doesn't help as no such button exists on the original remote and more important, the firmware of the device would not understand and execute such a command. Anyway, with our assumption mode, all should work anyway. Just go on with adding the device and choose assumption mode and you should be fine.
