Sonos on neeo

I have setup my Sonos play 1 and remote is connected to it.  The first time everything went well but after that the remote keeps saying no items found.  I remove the Sonos device and added again, it worked but then a day later it gives me the same prompt no items found.  Need help please...

  • On witch Firmware is your eemote and the Brain?

    There are some issues that will be fixed with a new Software. Did you check if you run the latest available on the Brain and the remote?

  • You are running the latest firmware, so that should not be an issue. Do you have multiple Sonos devices? Is there a Sonos Bridge involved?

    I am not sure if I have understood your problem correctly: Basically you are able to add your Sonos to NEEO and then you can correctly control it? But then after a day when you go into the room to which you have assigned your Sonos, there is no device and it just disappeared?

  • It’s not after a day as I’ve removed the device and added it several times now to test it out, it’s after I exit the device and start the recipe again I get the issue.  I have only 1 Sonos Play 1.  The device is still in the neeo remote but when I click the recipe, it does it’s thing but when the Sonos screen appears, there’s only one entry that says no media.  it works when I get into it the first time after adding the drive the first time but then when I exit it and come back to the device, I get no media screen again.  When I get home I will take a picture of what I mean.

  • Rene F Campoy I do think you have an issue with Sonos which we have not yet seen. I will have our developers take a close look at this.

    Would it be bearable for you to do a full reset of the NEEO Brain? Don't do it yet.

  • I would propose that you give this another try with the release from today. Remove the Sonos before updating.

    If that does not work out we'll have to try the complete reset.

  • After removing and upgrading the firmware, I'm pleased to say that did the trick.  Neeo and Sonos working now.  The only thing I wish for the next upgrade to have is the ability to see the music apps inside neeo remote such as I heart radio, apple music, and my plex. I see them in the neeo app and they work but would be nice to have that ability in the remote.

  • Glad to hear that. We will be adding more services. It is not a full workaround, but when you add Playlists etc. to your Sonos Favorites, you can also start these from NEEO directly.
