Imput tv Sony android TV
Hi,
i start playing whith my new remote but i have a problem
my tv:55xd93 sony
i use my tv tuner
and the original tv remote have a « tv » button
i dont find this in the short cut
this button is very useful because when you are in a app and you whant to switch to tv mode you can only hit one button
Is it possible to implement this ?

And the best thing for me is to have this feature when a long press on the ok button (for exemple)
On the picture you can see the TV button

Second question, is it possible to adress the « discover » fonction on a long-press « UP » direction/fonction on the NEEO remote ?

Andy not seem to work , the device seems to be up to date and when i search a TV button, there isnt.
the button « tv » could be personnalize with the TV. I take a picture

I may have confused something here. Please excuse my ignorance, about which issue are we talking? The tuner? The longpress (Discovery)?

Andy for the long press I accept the position of neeo to say that it is not possible. So no problem on that point
concerning the button « tv » I would like to have it. Because this button is very useful. When you are in every menu, you can hit the buttons to come back on the tv.
In addition, I’m sure that my Sony tv is compatible with the IP control. Maybe you can search on this way ?

Now I see! What you are searching is the command IINPUT TUNER. This is already include to to your device.

Andy I try but when I’m in the menu the tv didn’t come back to the tuner. When i try whith the original remote, the tv come back to the tuner.

Andy No Input Tuner is not the same command as the "TV" command on the original Remote. I have assigned "HDMI4" to the "TV" Button (can be done in the settings of the tv) but Input Tuner does not switch to the assigned HDMI port.
The good thing of the "TV" button is that it can be used to Power on the TV and its started automatically on the right input. (Instead of Power On the TV, wait for a few seconds and switch the input). Can this command be added to all the Sony Bravia TVs? I have a Sony KD55X8505C.
What i also would like to have is the command to open the Play Store app in Android TV which is also a Button on the original Remote

Torresan Guillaume No that does not mean there is no fix, that means I am still trying t catch up 😉
We can sure add the missing commands. I have assigned that to our device driver team and they will let you know once that is ready.
What we can not yet do is custom assigning the hard buttons to individual buttons on the NEEO Remote. We want to keep the devices very generic so that they work for all users. This feature has been requested many times though and we should soon get working on that. So it is not possible right now, but you will surely be able to do that in the future.

(i'm sure you also have a logitech harmony in your offices, you can just take the IR code from the harmony, no need for a original remote from Sony)

Now i would be hapoy if someone from NEEO could answer my question regarding the powerstates I posted some weeks ago as this new "TV" Input button is an implicit "Power On" command.

Thanks Andy - restarted the app and it was there - and works!
Pressing Hard Menu button still flickers up the TV Guide (rather than menu) and doesn't turn it off. Adding options as a short cut has the same affect - I can see the TV IR receiving light flashing twice, could this be the issue?

Not sure if I understand correctly. The TV does still not turn off, or the GUIDE cannot be turned off? Anyway, for all TVs and set top boxes: Short press on opens GUIDE, long press opens MENU.

Andy Pressing the menu button once brings up the menu but pressing it again doesn't turn it off as it does on the remote. Holding and pressing the menu down actually turns the menu off.

I see, thanks! That's a problem. GUIDE is mapped a long press always and cannot be changed. Can the menu be exited with BACK or EXIT?

Hey Andy, thanks. All issues solved for me by telling the NEEO my tv is a later model and using the recipe for that. I’ve mentioned this on a different strand.
