Yamaha RX-V679 missing Scenes and Zone 2, Sammy KS7000 missing "Exit"

Hello,

Have just recieved my Neeo and currently a bit stuck with some of my Kit. I use Scenes to control my Yamaha RX-V679 but there is no option to use these as inputs or even as buttons. I can use HDMI1,2,etc.. but i have different sound settings for each scene. Also i cannot see a Zone 2 Control for this AVR, i can see others Yamahas have Zone 2 but none for this one, i guess the IR may be the same as other models but not tried. Could these be added?

I also have a Samsung UE65KS7000 and there is no "Exit" button. I use this alot to exit menus and apps and back can take to long going back\back\back\back....

  • Hello Jim, thank you for reporting this. I have forwarded your request, we will get back to you shortly.

For the "Exit" button, could you try doing a "short" press on the hard "Back" Button and a "Long" press on the hard "Back" Button on the remote?

Thank you for your feedback. Regards,

Emily thanks for passing this over, short press on back works as expected (back to previous page in menus\apps) but long press does not do anything. Also no other option when manually editing recipies for "Exit" button

This was just fixed, we have added the Zone 2! The new data appears around 7PM CET. Please update your device according to this guide. Thanks!

Andy thanks for the quick response. Scenes now added and work great. Unfortunately the zone 2 device doesn't work, it seems to be same as standard as it turns main zone on.

Andy we are nearly there, the power and volume now works for Zone 2 but the inputs are still changing inputs on main zone not zone 2.

Can you try to add the device a second time and wire it and test if they are working correct? Also, you could add the commands to the short cut screens and test them from there. I want to make sure that the commands actually are incorrect and not some old data is for some reason left over. Thanks!

Thanks Andy that did it. It seemed the update left behind the old inputs. I have now removed and readded and can now fully control zone 2 inputs :)

Any chance the "exit" command could be added for the TV?
