Remote hard buttons freezes not working

As title say my black cat remote hard buttons freezes not working more often than actually it works.

It started to happen once in a while but now it happens more often than actually works. Very annoying .

    Hi  Girts Burnauskis Thanks for posting this. Sorry to see that your NEEO Remotes hard buttons are acting up. I suggest rebooting the NEEO Remote. If that does not help you can perform the recovery. You can do this by pressing and holding the power button for 15 seconds. When the remote completely powers off wait an additional 3-4 seconds. Simultaneously press and hold the power and mute button until you see the remote power on. Select the recovery option and then follow the on-screen instructions. Let me know if these steps help.

  • I did reboot it several times and it sort off helped but not fof long.

    Sometimes it helps to circle trough recepe on touch screen .

    Actually when it happens I'm not able to even switch it off becose hard buttons including power button dose not work.

  • I'm having the same situation with my black cat, and I dont know if its happening more or just that I'm using the remote more and therefore seeing it more often.

    I swipe left/right and then the hard button controls come back to life.

    • I don't have the Black Cat, just the Silver, but my buttons become unresponsive once in a while and I do the same thing - swipe the screen back and forth and then they become active again.

  • I have the same problem as you, but for med it seems to be connected to when i am using my xbox one s with the remote.

  • Yes, i have the same issue. it mostly happens when the remote is idle for a while. (hours/days). when i pick it up, start a recipe... then none of the hardware buttons responds.. only the touchscreen functions... swiping the screen seem to "wake" the hardware buttons.. i assume its a software bug.. lets hope its of the developers fixlist.

  • Ich habe leider das gleiche problem mit meiner Black Cat. Fast jeden Tag funktionieren die Buttons nicht mehr. Das ist leider sehr mühsam und nervt. Ich habe die freude an meiner Neeo verloren. Mit der Harmony hatte ich kein einziges mal solche Probleme.

      i do have the same problem, could you say something about the update delivery date? i can not use neeo anymore.. unfortunately

      nuro Hi Nuro, i think if you cant use your NEEO at all, you might have a different more serious problem then the guys above. For us, swiping the remote "fixes" the buttons. after that we can use the remote like normal. Is it only the remote that you cant use anymore? how about the NEEO app on your phone?

  • I hope the the update is coming soon because I have the same problem. Luckily sliding the touchscreen revives the buttons . ETA?

    • Niels Feenstra I am relieved to hear this isn’t something that was just happening to me. I am having issues with recipes that are switching between components and recipes to turn off all components.

      I Have diabled Neeo link and haven't seen the issue anymore. I only used the remote a few times so maybe it is still there, I let you know is a few days.

       

      When you disable neeo link the battery drains faster I think?
