Channel Favorites

How / Where can we add Local Channels icons?

I have a few that are correct for my local OTA channels, but would like to have the right icons (or just an Icon for that matter)

  • I take it that you know how to add Channel Favorites (In the NEEO app on your phone when running your OTA device recipe, upper right hand menu, edit favorites) but just don't see the icon you are looking for? When adding a favorite channel and you type in the channel name you should be able to scroll down through the available icons and pick the closest to what you want. In my case there isn't an icon for Create (a PBS subchannel in my area) but there is one for Create & Craft. Remember you can pick any icon and assign it any channel. Example I could pick the NBC icon but assign it to my local CBS channel number.  If you can't find an icon you can always ask the community if they have found it or you could email support and ask them to add it.

  • Yes I have added them.

But that is what I am asking for.  How can we submit the right icons so ultimately they show up in the selection list.

  • If you’re adding a local network channel, pick a network, ie. ABC and then assign your local channel number to it.

Ted Champipn Some people can’t. Subchannels have a “.” In them. Without the option to enter a decimal, their is no way to assigntbe local channel number. Whentrying to add a fav channel for some devices, the only option we’re provided with besides the numbers, is a dash. When the Neeo remote commands my tv to bring up channel 7-1 for ABC, the channel displayed will 71. This is a big oversight, especially since the device recipe keeps alerting me to the fact that I haven’t yet added any favorite channels for this device in Neeo.

  • Andy This is not fixed.  The dash is ignored.  I want to store a favorite 48.3 and I am setting 48-3 on the remote.  It enters 483.  How do I fix this?  The remote is headed right back to Amazon if this isn’t working.

    • Scott Hatland  Please tell Andy what device you are needing the "." for. He will update the device's driver. The "-" button in the numbers popup will then act as the ".". I needed the "." IR code programmed for a Channel Master DVR. Andy updated the device driver quickly and all was good.

Michael Sørensen There appears to be a major bug in the latest s/w.   I had this problem too and had to delete my TV and re-add it.   They added a new feature for displays without tuners that don't need the favourites page and it seems that they got the default wrong.
