Channel Favorite icons lose graphic
I Have set up channel favourites for my satellite tuner and found that strangely one icon graphic changes to a white square with a musical note symbol shortly after being used. I delete the favorite to try setting it again, only to find that it installs with the graphic correctly but yet again goes back to the white square after first use.
It is the Food. Network icon graphics that is the culprit.

A number of people are having the same issue. They are using the iOS NEEO app. Are you and if so what version? I'm using Android and haven't run into this issue.

Patrick what is the status of this problem. i can't take the remote in production, it is useless for my wife and kids when i have no icons.

Patrick i have the same problem with missing channel icons, after the last fw update it is better but still missing 1 icon the SBS 6 icon. deleting the icon and add the icon again will not resolve the problem.

Same issue here. When searching for channel favorites, all I have is the white square with the music note in. At the next step (entering the correct channel number), the logo shows. After hitting the "Done" button, my favorites only show the white square again (app and remote). (see attached image).
Since you have been aware of the issue for 2 months now, is there any fix or update coming ?

As of this week (Nov 30) the Icons have returned without intervention. Is it a 'permissions' issue with access to the Icon database? There has been one Brain update and a few device updates. I doubt they had anything to do with resolving the mystery.
Thankfully, they seem stable.

I had it for some days actually think it started when the latest fw was made available.
Disappeared after installing the fw.
If that’s the reason or just need of restart. No clue.

Agron Basha this problem exists from day 1, 3 fw updates further and the problem still exist.

Apparently not for everyone although it looks a little strange on an iOS device compared to NEEO itself. The grey square only exists in the app

John van Dijk sounds to me like some problem with the resolution of the pictures they use for the icons. I know there was problems to show album art in Philips Streamium or Logitech or Sonos due to resolution. Question is if anyone else have the same channels added without problems.

I too am now having the identical issue starting yesterday. To troubleshoot I deleted the favorite channel, PBS, and tried readding the favorite. The Brain found the correct icon and when added it too reverted to the musical note. Previously the remote has had this favorite working correctly for 10 months or more and has worked correctly with the latest firmware 50.6 but failed yesterday.

i have this issue since several weeks. I tried to delete all my favorites and add them again, but still have white squares with music note.
Any news on this issue ? As i can see, this have been discovered a year ago.

Nicolas Philippe I got the same bug, only once. After deleting and adding them again, it's ok. This bug is still here.

I am having the same issue. The icons just turned into grey squares after a week. Weird.

My icons have now disappeared and have been replaced with the music note. I have had this device for 1 month. Is this going to be fixed?

Justin Silvera A fix will come with a software update, in the meantime, you can reboot the brain and the remote to get the icons back.

Markus Mahr I tried rebooting and I didn't get my icons back. Is there a "special" reboot which has to be done?

Kesna Lawrence It only needs a reboot of both, the Remote and the Brain. You should be fine when you let the brain powerless for 1-2 minutes and when the brain is booted, reboot of the remote via 10 seconds hold of the Power button then lift your finger and repress the button for 1-2 seconds. This forces a reboot of the remote.
if it is not ok afterwards, can you provide your NEEO Hostname (can be found int he about section of the neeo app) so a NEEO Team member can check if there is something uncommon.

Hi, ich hatte das selbe Problem. Nach reboot vom Brain sind die Icons in der ios app wieder da, jedoch auf der remote nicht. Ich hab auch schon neu zwischen App und Remote synchronisiert, doch die Icons auf der Remote fehlen noch. Das Problem trat heute über Nacht auf, obwohl die Remote nicht benutzt wurde.
