Pioneer VSX-S500

Hi all,

 

I've received my Neeo today! Hell yeahh the wait is over... Thank you for getting it here :)

I've added my devices but the pioneer doesn't seem to be working. i have re-added it a couple of times but none of the test buttons work. I also tried the VSX-S300 but it didn't work also.

  • So I've added it anyway and the power toggle seems to be working although it didn't in the test when adding buttons. I've tried several buttons volume and down doesn't work smooth and input selection doesn't work at all. 

    The device is an AVR btw.

  • Sorry for the late reaction from our side. Our device driver team will have a look at the command set from this device. Once fixed they will let you know.

  • Just add the VSX-S500 to my brain.

    really weird the behaviour...

    some keys are working, like ON, OFF, vol+, vol-, adapter, CD, CDR

    but some are not working : Mute, BD/BDR, ...

    and some are not existing : Game, STB,...

     

    do you have the same thing?

      Julien Gomez I have checked it and since the update 2 weeks ago and some functionality is added but not all inputs are working exactly as  you are saying. I'm not able to put the volume up or down by one. Is this working for you?

      In order to figure out which is the correct command we have created a Live IR Test.

      The Live IR Test works the following way:

      1. Navigate to the Settings Menu in your NEEO app.
      2. Navigate to NEEO Brain.
      3. Click on "Live IR Test".
      4. Enter into the text field the following code: 83UUUCxE5a
      5. Test the commands
